Dedicated to the "Instant Commissions" business model, the iDavi Marketplace has one of the most sophisticated affiliate management systems to be found anywhere on the internet.

To benefit both the product merchants and the affiliate network, required aggregating the products from many merchants that were using the instant commission model into one, centralized marketplace.

Affiliates need to know more than just "how many clicks did I send, and how many of those visitors actually purchased the product?"

To be really effective, they need to know about new products that come on the market, price changes and special promotions being offered on existing products, what is selling well at the moment, and what products have the best potential for longer term revenue.

Rather than just tracking what happened in their own promotions (after the fact), information like this allows affiliates to determine what they should promote in the first place, whether they should just "test" the market with a single mailing, or if there is enough long-term potential to justify placing a more permanent promotion on their blog, or creating a promotional video for publishing to their YouTube account, or whether they might want to do some PPC advertising.

By aggregating merchants' product data for trending purposes, and giving affiliates multiple ways to analyze that information, the iDavi system provides the tools an affiliate needs to make his/her business decisions, while providing merchants with access to a sales force that is better equipped than any other affiliate network in the industry.

Only the iDavi Marketplace provides this kind of information in the affiliate back office, to allow affiliates to make good, informed decisions on what products to promote, while still providing all the statistical data on their promotions, in the form of raw numerical data, as well as line graphs to see performance overall or by individual product.

While initially, the iDavi Marketplace only contains products from merchants using the Rapid Action Profits (RAP) sales/affiliate system, there are currently over 2,000 registered RAP merchants, and already over 3,000 products listed in the iDavi Marketplace. Plans are well under way to bring in even more instant commission products in the near future.

On Saturday, 20 August, the new iDavi Marketplace was presented live, to the attendees of the 6th NAMS conference in Atlanta.

Only 2 weeks after the launch of the new instant commission marketplace, affiliate marketers were given their first live presentation of the new system, to show them the powerful features available, and explain the benefits of promoting instant commission products via the marketplace.

All of the partners in iDavi (Richard Wing, Mike Myers, and Sid Hale) were present, and were available for one-on-one consultation with the participants throughout the remainder of the conference.

This live presentation of the iDavi features marked the beginning of iDavi's efforts to recruit affiliate marketers on behalf of the instant commission merchants who have listed their products on the iDavi Marketplace, and is just one of many promotions of the site that are planned for the coming months.

This past Sunday evening, my new partners - Richard Wing and Mike Myers - and I, launched a new Marketplace to

create an advertising space for merchants using the Rapid Action Profits (RAP) system to sell their products,

create an affiliate network with a centralized repository of instant commission products that they can sell, and

create a free membership for buyers of those products to assist both merchants and affiliates in the cross-selling/backend marketing of other products

Of course, there are other "marketplaces" out there, but we couldn't find a single one that even attempted to serve in the best interest of merchants, affiliates, and customers.

Maybe that's because they aren't really marketplaces.

What we found is that they rarely even had a customer focus. Because their real agenda was to bring together merchants and affiliates, they had no customer component, at all. It seems to me that a marketplace should be customer-focused, and make the customer experience as positive an experience as possible.

Instead, most of the other services we found weren't marketplaces, at all. They were only interested in "hooking up" affiliates with merchants, for the sake of an individual sale, and did nothing with regard to the customer but send them to the payment processor, and then collect the payment info after the sale.

In short, they were affiliate networks - not a Marketplace, at all.

Is there a reason they've totally left the customer out of the equation? Sure. The customer is the merchant's customer, and brings nothing to their bottom line. Their service involved the customer - only as far as it had to.

At iDavi, we feel that we can help both merchants and affiliates much more, simply by shifting focus slightly, and trying to retain the customers attention with targeted cross-selling, and backend marketing (marketing tasks where many marketers fall short). The extra effort that we put into marketing on behalf of the affiliate, as well as the merchant, should result in higher sales and a better bottom line for all concerned.

New RAP Certified Add On provides "catalog" of your RAP-driven product, by category, most active, featured, etc. The New FrontPage catalog is another great Add On from Mike Myers, at RAP-Tools.com

Mike Myers just released his latest RAP Add On, called Frontpage, and Rapid Action Profits customers are gonna love it. Especially if you sell a lot of products from the same site!

His new "FrontPage" Add On creates a landing page for your RAP site, cataloging all of the products for sale on your site (by category).

It's template based, updates the landing page dynamically when you add a new product to your site, and allows customers to search for products by keyword(s).

There are lots of modules to choose for each section of your page (category list, search, top products, newest products, random product, showcase and many more). Even create custom modules to include just about anything you want on the page.

After you setup your template you can change the position of any of the modules from within the RAP Admin interface. No need to touch any code.

There's much more in this addon, but the best thing is to go check it out (watch the video). It walks you through exactly how FrontPage works and will explain everything much better than I can do it in print.

The latest release of Rapid Action Profits (RAP) made it out of beta testing this past week with some great new features!

For Security:

The Site Administrator now receives an email to alert them of a possible "hack" EVERY time System Settings are changed, either from the Admin Panel, or by running the install script, or if Equity Partners are added or changed on a product.

Instant Payment Notification (IPN) processing was modified to catch additional fraud attempts.

But there's more:

An RSS feed is now created automatically for all of your RAP products that are NOT in test mode.

You can now implement a Pre-Launch strategy with a series of multiple pre-launch sales letters, that expire according to your schedule. Each of a series of pre-launch pages will be shown in sequence, until they are all expired, at which time the system will begin showing the normal sales page(s).

A separate Auto Opt-in for your back-end offer (Special Offer or OTO) has been provided, in order to segregate buyers of your special offer onto a separate list.

RAP now provides for an Unlimited number of Equity Partners for each product, allowing you to collaborate on projects and automatically distribute revenues from those projects.

New option in Product set up allows the ability to require that Affiliates/JV Partners be registered in the system, disallowing non-registered promoters from profiting on sales of your products.

The Affiliate Center now allows affiliates to see a list of customers they have referred, as well as a list of their downline affiliates.

New Mailer options allow you to use either normal PHP Mail, or the new SMTP mail feature, and for selection of plain text or HTML emails.

Default Sender Name & email address can now be set separately for each type of System Email (by product), and for each Broadcast Mail source.

There's much more, and that's on top of all the previous features that have allowed RAP customers tremendous flexibility in setting up their own business model, and painlessly managing their own affiliate program with none of the normal headaches.

NOTICE - This is late in coming to you, but for the rest of today, and tomorrow (Monday, Aug 2), you can get a special introductory discount - just because I can ;)

I've been busier than a one-armed paper hanger, so I'm late letting you know about the discount. I apologize.

On Friday (a week ago), just as I was getting ready to announce my new ebook, Advanced Marketing Strategies, the server just rolled over.

What is it Charlie Brown says? arrrrrrrghhhhhh!

The Forum was down. My Help Desk was down. Everything.

In fact, after several false starts - we decided to move the whole thing to a new server. I finally got everything back up and running, and late Sunday night, we were finally able to let (only) my existing customers know about it. I wanted to give them a special intro price, and had some of my own back-end marketing strategies planned.

Now it's finally available for anyone who needs it.

If you sell a product (or want to), Advanced Marketing Strategies explains how to:

Extend the Marketable Life of Every Product You Launch

Help you Increase the "Buzz" for Your Product (before, during, and long after your launch)

Grow Your "List of Buyers" for Targeting Back End Offers

Easily Recruit Affiliates (forever)

Get affiliates to advertise long-term, rather than just sending out one email to their list

Re-purpose your offers once the profits die down

If you don't learn anything else, get this right.

Learn to market your products, rather than just selling to your list. Create a "sales engine", and a commission-only sales force to do the selling.

Use the techniques in Advanced Marketing Strategies to grow your business by focusing on marketing strategies rather than all the traffic tricks, list-building techniques, etc. that you depended on as an affiliate marketer.

It's a different game, and to win... you have to play it differently.

Bill Ortell (rap-extras.com) and Erin (netkickstart.com) just released the latest Certified RAP Add On, and it delivers great value added functions for RAP customers.

For the first time, with thanks to the Kunaki CD/DVD Fulfillment Add On, Rapid Action Profits can be used to deliver physical product, rather than just digital downloads.

Tightly integrated with RAP, this new add on allows for defining multiple Kunaki accounts/products, and relating those to individual RAP-driven sales campaigns. It will collect the shipping info (shipping method, shipping address, etc.) from your customer, combine it with the Kunaki product number, and pass the order off to Kunaki for fulfillment.

Don't have a physical product?

Here are some ideas I've been tossing around:

How easy would it be to turn my digital download into a CD or DVD (especially when Kunaki does all the production work), and offer it as an OTO for an extra $20-$30 (or more)?

Maybe I could set up an Equity Partnership with someone who has a great set of download videos. Rather than just being another "affiliate" I could set his/her product up for physical delivery, and the equity partner feature of RAP will automatically split the profits between us.

or what about setting up a Micro Continuity program, with incremental delivery and HUGE backend sales potential?

Those are just off the top of my head. Maybe you have some of your own ideas...

*** Happy Birthday ***

We've been celebrating all week, but today is the day. It's 2 years ago today that we made the very first sale of RAP!

Last week I told you about our 2nd Anniversary sale, and I hope you've had a chance to benefit from some of the great discounts that were offered this week on RAP and for so many RAP-related products.

If not, here's one last chance!

You see, it all comes down at midnight (ET) tonight.

http://RapidActionProfits.com/anniversary

Besides the Rapid Action Profits system, you'll find 15 different products there, all designed to work with RAP to make your business that much better. A bunch of folks all chipped in to offer you a 25% discount on their related products. RAP Add Ons, matching templates for your RAP-driven products and for a Wordpress blog (to help with SEO and traffic), and even Rapid Action Videos, too.

Plus, you don't have to settle for just one - they've all offered a discount at one time or another, but this is the first time you've been able to pick up as many as you want!

http://RapidActionProfits.com/anniversary

Go ahead. Fill your goodie bag. With what you save on one you can probably pick up another - and there are plenty of great add ons to choose from.

A great group of people partnered with us to make our 2nd Anniversary Celebration special to existing customers, as well as new clients.

Just putting up a promotional discount for Rapid Action Profits would be great for new RAP prospects - but there's nothing there for existing customers to "celebrate". The secret to making this special for everyone, is that all of the RAP Certified Add On developers, PLUS 2 other merchants with "RAP related" products stepped up to the plate, and volunteered to make sure that there were also "party favors" for everyone who already has a copy of Rapid Action Profits.

Besides the $50 Anniversary discount that I'm offering for RAP...

The RAP Certified Add Ons community came up with a 25% discount on all of these add ons:

Affiliate Notifier

Bonus Item Manager

Dimes Sales Management

OTO Downsell Management

Mass Pay

Membership Plus

Paypal Subscription Management

Price Spinner

RAP Gone Viral

Reseller Bonus Managment

Token Plus

In addition, Rapid Action Videos is offering the same 25% off for their excellent RAP video tutorial series, and Templates in a Box is offering a suite of RAP-ready web site templates with matching Wordpress and CMS themes.

Of course, if you don't already have RAP, you'll want to start there, but there's a "whole lot of partying goin' on" for existing RAP customers, too! (and thanks to so many for helping make this possible)

Be sure to have a look. We're partying hard, but won't be able to keep up the pace forever :D

RAP-driven sites will be glad to know that a brand new add on has just been certified for use with Rapid Action Profits.

RAP Gone Viral provides a web-based WYSIWYG editor to create HTML documents that are converted to PDF (and automatically re-branded with an affiliate's link) at the time an affiliate downloads the document.

The affiliate does NOT have to know anything about re-branding. He/she simply clicks a download link (i.e. in their affiliate tools page) and the PDF is generated and re-branded with their link - on the fly. All the affiliate has to do is push it out to their list, and earn commissions on sales made via their embedded affiliate links.

Merchants can create 'Leaked Chapters' from the actual product(s) being sold, or any other type of pre-sales document that their affiliates can use for promotions.

If the merchant creates good value in the document, affiliates can put the PDFs up on their web site or blog as a free download, or offer it as a "freebie" to get new opt-ins. The RAP Gone Viral Add On not only gives affiliates a new reason to promote your RAP-driven product, but a new way to promote it, as well!
