One Week into Rapid Action Profits Launch

The “launch” of Rapid Action Profits is going really well.  I put the “launch” in quotes because it’s really spread more by word of mouth.

I had a reasonably formal strategy mapped out, but before I got to step 2 (where I was going to start actively looking for affiliates), other marketers were beginning to find me and writing to ask if I had an affiliate program.  (which of course I do – at http://RapidActionProfits.com/affiliates.php)

It seems that about half of my customers are becoming affiliates themselves, and they’re doing as good a job at spreading the word as I could ever hope to do.

I was pretty sure I had a winner from the reactions I was getting from my beta-testers, but the acid test is always how your customers react once they’ve had a chance to touch and feel your product.  A comment like this one from my support forum is very gratifying:

Subject: Very Impressed
I’m VERY inexperienced at internet marketing, although I’ve read a little bit (too much information, actually). But I got the script this afternoon and once I realized that I could install it on my add-on domain, and then found out the hard way that Unix can tell the difference between upper and lower case, it still only took me a few hours to get going. All I did was set up 7 sales pages just for practice to sell some old resell rights ebooks I downloaded in some giveaway and never looked at – recipes, ebay boods etc. and made $40 this afternoon. Granted that’s not the way to become a millionaire on the internet, but it was kinda fun to make a few dollars right out of the box so to speak.
Thanks!

The first week has flown by.  I upped the price quite a bit on Wednesday night, but it didn’t seem to have much impact on the level of sales.  Probably still selling it too cheap 😮

Today I put out a new version that includes an automatic “countdown” feature for anyone who wants to put a limit on the number of items they sell to create a “fear of loss”, and also handles refund transactions from Paypal.  This last feature helps keep you from downloading product to someone who asks for a refund, and also helps keep the commissions on track so neither affiliate or merchant loses out from a customer refund.

I’m really glad I decided to create Rapid Action Profits.  The customers are coming up with some great new feature suggestions so I’m going to be able to keep extending the features/benefits for quite some time to come.
